Mark Meyer - Principal Consultant
Mark Meyer is a coach, strategist and problem solver working alongside
business executives to help launch their companies, grow their revenue
and transform their strategy. His specialty is translating insight into
aggressive growth-oriented plans which execute successfully and deliver
true value.
Meyer has completed engagements in the energy industry, high
technology industry and finance industry in the US, Europe and Latin
America. He has worked with customers from around the world,
including projects in China, India and Saudi Arabia. His strategic and
tactical expertise is complimented by his prior executive, director,
business development, and engineering positions.
Meyer has raised over $40 million for exploration and production and
high-technology ventures, including projects in the Permian Basin and
oilfield services technology focus on high pressure/high temperature
solutions (HPHT).
Mark has been recognized by Harvard Business Review and other
corporations for best practices in delivering business strategy results.
Meyer is a member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and has
been active as a coach at the Houston Technology Center (HTC), where
he worked on the Energy Review Committee for the Gulf Coast Regional
Center of Innovation and Commercialization (GCRCIC), reviewing startup
company business plans for the Texas Emerging Technology Fund
(TETF).
Mark holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of
Texas at Austin where he completed research projects in tertiary oil
recovery at the Department of Petroleum Engineering.
Mark is an avid amateur astronomer with 10-inch Newtonian and
Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes.
